Adrian Paye

Adrian Paye lives in the Borrowdale Valley, a remaining fragment of temperate rainforest in the UK’s Lake District National Park. He draws inspiration from the rich biodiversity and volcanic mineral landscapes around him. Some of his paintings incorporate inks made from local rocks. All his work uses rainwater collected from his studio roof.
